Your gift on Giving Tuesday will help support the wonderful programs that provide Coyle and Cassidy students with the highest quality Catholic education. Historically, Catholic schools in our region are known for charging less than the actual cost of a child's education in an effort to be affordable to as many families as possible. This year, the per pupil cost at the high school and middle school levels is $10,440, while high school tuition is $9,450 and middle school tuition is $6,350. When translated into a daily figure, it costs $58 per day ($8.90 per hour) to educate a child at Coyle and Cassidy. What an incredible value for a state-of-the art 21st century education! Despite this incredible value, one-third of our families struggle to make ends meet. In a continuous effort to maintain an affordable tuition, we rely on our many alumni, friends, and benefactors to help us bridge the tuition gap. On this Giving Tuesday, would you consider providing a student with one day of school at Coyle and Cassidy with a gift of $58? What an amazing Christmas gift for a child in financial need!!
We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.
